His professional career started in 2001, when he joined OFM – a subsidiary of SOMAFEL – immediately after completing his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. After his experience as project manager of several construction projects for the Porto Light Rail System between 2001 and 2010, in addition to other railway projects for Infraestruturas de Portugal, in 2012, he became coordinator of the railway and maritime project in the Mozambican market. In 2016, he was relocated to another continent, taking on the role of Production Manager of SOMAFEL Brazil, coordinating major projects such as the installation of the Salvador Light Rail System or Sections 45 to 47 of the Expansion of the Carajás Railroad. Since the beginning of 2018, he is the Manager of SOMAFEL Brazil, coordinating all company’s operations in this market.
