Metro Sul do Tejo is a public light rail transport system. This network runs separate from, but in parallel to, road traffic and it only has level crossings on the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system is characterized by two sets of rails embedded in the track pavement with a gauge of 1435 mm. The system is powered by 750 V direct current.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
