On 22/12/2021, the Assignment of access and possession rights was of the Lot 3 of the Expansion Plan of the Lisboa Metro Network was signed, which comprises the Viaducts of Campo Grande for the extension of the Yellow and Green lines.
The contract job for the design / build of the major structural works, finishes and systems, within the scope of the Viaducts do Campo Grande for the extension of the Yellow and Green lines, had already been signed on 03/11/2020, between Metropolitano de Lisboa E.P.E. (ML) and Teixeira Duarte – Somafel – Viadutos do Campo Grande ACE. The contract was awarded the ´prior approval of the Court of Auditors, in February 2021, having been subsequently submitted to the Environment Portuguese Agency , for the evaluation of the RECAPE (report on the environmental conformity of the design).
The viaduct of the Green line will have a length of 158 m and the Yellow line one 411 m, being also comprised the relocation of the Campo Grande Station and the installation of a « S » track switch, north of the Cidade Universitária. The works are expected to be completed by November 2023.
