Project Objectives 

Electrification of 57 km of track

Description

The Minho Line runs from North to South, from Porto to Valença do Minho, where it connects to Spain.

This project, carried out in consortium, aimed at making railway transport more competitive in the connection to Spain and in the interregional connections between Porto and Minho. The project consisted mainly of the electrification of the section, with specific interventions in tunnels, bridges, stations and halts.
