Between 11 and 13 June, Brasilia hosted the Third Planning Week at DNIT (Brazil’s National Department of Transport Infrastructure), which in its third edition gained new partners, new structures and a more robust and innovative schedule.
As DNIT is responsible for the maintenance, expansion, construction, supervision and development of technical studies to solve issues related to the Federal Motorway System, during the Third Planning Week the seminars addressed subjects such as: Infrastructure Programmes, Road and Railway Maintenance, Special Engineering Structures, Environment, Road Safety, Traffic Simulation, Waterway Studies and Projects and the main tools used to develop plans, such as Geo-technologies and BIM methodology applied to railway projects.
Somafel was present, announcing its activities at the stand, together with Teixeira Duarte and EMPA.
