Railway Equipment
SOMAFEL has continuous-action tamping machines to treat plain line (straight) track and switches and crossings (S&C).
These high-tech machines are equipped with the latest computerized track acquisition and rectification systems to comply with the technical requirements for the construction and maintenance of the traditional railway network and the high speed network.
In addition to tampers, SOMAFEL also has a wide range of other equipment: ballast cleaners, ballast regulators, dynamic track stabilizers, rail grinders, electric welding machines, various support wagons, including special waste storage wagons, road-rail slewing cranes, road-rail dumpers.
SOMAFEL also has a full range of light track equipment, computerized measurement and control systems, multiple means of transport and support logistics and various pieces of construction equipment
