Brazil – Contracts with the mining company VALE
In Brazil for the mining company VALE, along the Estrada de Ferro de Carajás, recognized as one of the most loaded railways in the world, with a length of 900km and a capacity of over 200M tons/year, Somafel has, under various contracts, carried out various maintenance and rehabilitation works on the railway infrastructure, with particular emphasis on reprofiling and slope stabilization work, platform treatment and longitudinal drainage.
