Description
Between December 2015 and July 2016, SOMAFEL was responsible for the maintenance of the Brasília Metro System, covering the following aspects:
• Rolling Stock – Preventive and corrective maintenance of 32 Electrical Triple Units • Signalling, Control, Telecommunications and Ventilation (SCT/VT) – Preventive and corrective maintenance of the Signalling, Telecommunications and Ventilation Systems • Power – Preventive and corrective maintenance of the electric power supply system, comprising 78.6 km of third rail and 48 substations. • Permanent track – Preventive and corrective maintenance of the permanent track system, comprising 81.5 km of track and 90 switches and crossings. • Buildings – Preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings (stations).
