A project aimed at providing the terminal with better operating and manoeuvring conditions and to increase the installed capacity, allowing the movement of 36 trains per day, of 750 meters each.
SOMAFEL conducted the complete renovation of the track superstructure, including ballast cleaning, the settlement of new track composed of rail 60E1 and single block concrete sleepers, of switches and crossings, ballast regulation, track leelling, aligning and tamping, and dynamic track stabilising.
