Description

Metro Sul do Tejo is a public light rail transport system. This network runs separate from, but in parallel to, road traffic and it only has level crossings on the road.

The system is characterized by two sets of rails embedded in the track pavement with a gauge of 1435 mm. The system is powered by 750 V direct current.
