Project Objectives 

1. Installation of 6 switches linking the high speed line to the conventional line. 2. Construction of 14 km of track. 3. Installation of 45 switches and crossings. 4. Construction of 8.3 km of overhead line.

Description

As part of the first African high-speed project linking the cities of Tangier to Casablanca, SOMAFEL was responsible for the construction of the Kenitra Terminal Facilities (Installations Terminales de Kenitra).

The project was divided into three distinct zones: Zone A (Link to the base of the LGV Works); Zone B (Connection to the High Speed Line) and Zone C (Gare de Kenitra Central).
