Electrification of the French Conventional Rail Network

Description

In order to consolidate and expand its activity in the French railway market, from 2007 onwards, SOMAFEL participated in a series of projects for the installation of overhead lines on the French Conventional Rail Network.

Among the projects carried out, we can highlight:

• Refurbishment of mast and portal booms – Orly Ville, Rungis la Fraternelle and Wissous Stations
• Installation of overhead lines on the Nantes / Les Sables d’ Orlone section.
• Adaptation / correction of overhead lines due to the full track refurbishment at the Esquelbercq and Rennes Stations
