Description

The Hangar 6 project consisted of a structural intervention on the Main Gates of Hangar 6 at Humberto Delgado Airport.

The intervention consisted of the correction of the rail laying base, repair of the guiding path and replacement of the rails. Taking into account the need to keep the gates operational, the intervention was divided in three distinct phases, comprising the construction of 621 m of track, with a continuum fastening system through an high resistance elastomer.
